Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 18 February 2021 Posted 18 February 2021 He's really not a RB. He's a centre half. Think how much JJ, Timmy & Riccy get up and down the flank. Big Dan does not and cannot do that. But he's a good squad cover as 4th choice CB & RB. 1
Popular Post Grebfromgrebland Posted 18 February 2021 Popular Post Posted 18 February 2021 I don't even see why this is even up for discussion he's a valuable member of our squad and the level of player we need to keep in the background who's happy to be back up. 8 1
Popular Post Ian Nacho Posted 18 February 2021 Popular Post Posted 18 February 2021 I don’t know why people are surprised the 4th choice right back isn’t playing like Cafu. 4 12
Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 6 March 2021 Popular Post Posted 6 March 2021 Everytime he scores for us, it's a clutch goal! Many won't want him anywhere near the first team, but he's a solid squad option. Can play multiple positions and always puts in 100%. He's clearly not as good as Evans, Fofana or Soyuncu. JJ is probably better in a back 3 than him. But players like him are still very important! When Fergie was dominating with Man U, players like Ji Sung Park, Darren Fletcher and Darron Gibson still played a part. He's our equivalent of that type of player and I think he's worth a place in the 25 as it stands. Well played Dan, happy for you! 9
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Now I was saying some proper mean things about him during the first half. But he did get better and the goal will be great for his confidence.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 As a fourth choice central defender, third choice right back, third choice defensive midfielder and third choice striker, we could do a lot worse! Dan the man. 3

Spudulike Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 In real time I thought it just hit him when it was a really decent stooping header. 2
GeorgeTheFox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Like him or not he's now played a big part in whatever this season may come to be. Hope the lad gets some confidence 1

Chester Dontlie Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Oohohohohohooooooooooooooo Dan Amarteyyyyyyyy I'm well chuffed for him. Gets a lot of stick, yet both Soy and Wes jr were just as suspect as him defensively - and none of them scored the winner! Should do some good to his confidence. Actually my only problem with Dan is that he's passing backwards 80% of the time (but he's not the only one who does that) 1
Sharpe's Fox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 I think Daniel Amartey could pick me up with his big, strong arms and make me feel safe. 1 3
baldeagle Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 I said in the match thread many don’t rate him but he’s been solid tonight then he goes and scores big up big Dan 1
kingfox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Legend. I haven’t felt enjoyment like this, since the night we won the Premier League. I fvcking told you he was World Class, next step a new five year contract. 1

Lesta2014 Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Can never fault this lads effort and attitude! All I ever ask for in lcfc shirt 2
BKLFox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 So glad he used his head and not 1 of his bambi legs, well done Dan
Corky Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Such a likeable bloke. Not a great footballer but that was a massive moment tonight. Delighted we've had another player with a telling contribution this season.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Tbf that could be a massive goal for the club
NewEnglandFox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Big Dan only scores Big Goals. The other one was the 2-2 equalizer coming back from 2-0 down with 10 men at Stoke. 1
