Totally my take on it.

So many 'experts' on here comparing this to selling a local business, it's nothing like that.

The city as a local authority is going to have it's boundaries grow but nobody's really going to consider Syston, Countesthorpe, Glenfield, Anstey, LFE, etc an actual part of Leicester any more than they do now. The city's population is going to go up a bit but the county's is going to come down.

 

Some cities are already like that. Technically the boundaries of the city of Bradford go all the way up to Ilkley but nobody is going to really sensibly consider that actual Bradford. Wakefield and Leeds are similar. 

 

It's also worth noting that quite a few local government areas are getting reshuffled and we won't be the only city potentially growing like that.

We're stuck in the darkest timeline now but we would have been facing that issue as a Premier League club instead of a Championship one, with a group of players out of contact and about to take a huge burden off the wage bill, and we could have sought better fees for other players too. It's entirely possible we could have met our PSR obligations as a Premier League club but we'll never know now. We were not afforded that basic right of fair competition. The direction of travel of the quality of leadership was already going in the wrong direction and I doubt they'd have improved us from there, but the damage was already done externally and everything's gone **** up ever since.

Our recruitment was terrible for too long and eventually, we would have dropped one way or the other. Regarding seeking better fees, we let players go on a free.

Re Syston etc I’m sure people thought that about Knighton, Stoneygate etc.

Im currently going go through my boxing connections to find out if it’s Turki. 
 

Early indications suggest he has no interest but we will see. If it’s not him I will find out in the next 24 hours I think. 
 

If it is I’m sure he will more than likely want to be tight lipped about it.

Middlesbrough do not own £100 million training complex and probably not a separate ladies training setup ! If all the infrastructure is included in the 140m it could be a good deal.

The women’s setup is completely worthless it losses money every year at the moment. 
 

That’ll change given time but it has no value at all at the moment it’s just an overhead. 
 

And yeah Middlesbrough do not own a training facility that was an expensive purchase, they also don’t own one that costs 8 figures to run in maintenance costs.

This is correct, you can only rule out people who say they aren’t interested at the moment anyone who is will be keeping quiet for that reason.
