Playing some nice stuff and not just keeping possession for possession sake all the time, some nice clipped balls over the top have neatly resulted in good chances, can see why there is a big emphasis on fitness, we press high and very quick to get the ball back as fast as possible

So far it’s all been very neat and tidy, some passages of nice play. But we’re desperate for a clinical CF and two decent wide players. Most of what I’m seeing is nice, total control with little penetration though.

Otchere hasn’t done much but you’ve got to be in the right place at the right time so fair play. Not sure what the keeper was complaining for (probably covering for the fact he spilled it)

Why was Aluko not used last season? Hes the one academy lad I’ve consistently been impressed with….. yet he never got game time…. He’s better than Chilwell was at this stage of his career.

Aluko's decision making needs a lot of work but I really like him. When he does make the correct decision, the quality shines through. Brilliant run.

 

And that's the kind of goal that you want to see your striker score. So that's a good sign
