The system he plays gives the opposition chances to get back in the game, will happen again and again until they decide to sack him. Was square pegs in round holes at the end and created absolutely nothing in the second half of much note. Last frustration is we looked knackered again, Barnsley with 10 men looked properly fit and could have won it!

Cleary was the best player on the pitch by the way and a team with ambitions of winning the league should be signing him.

We’re stuck with him! Supposedly the highest paid in the efl… we’re not firing him and paying that compensation. It’s going to be Brendan situation

They're going to ride him until the wheels fully fall off aren't they?

He's as good as admitted that he'd rather we be relegated out of existence than adapt his style in any way, so even though it inevitably ends in tears, we better hope it clicks for him, at this level at least...

Surely not on more than Nuno at West Ham?

Can go for me now, I lost my patience a couple of weeks ago when we got thumped 4-0. Last weekend didn't paper over the cracks for me and now we've just seen another embarrassing result more so given the way the game went. Not winning that game against 10 man Barnsley with the squad we have is firmly sackable

One of the people from BSLB pod said it. But yeah maybe not Nuno but still it’s likely astronomical

So Barnsley with 10 men has 22 percent possession and manager 5 shots on target just 3 less than us.

You can see why against any team that half decent we all get tonked like the Oxford result.

All the possession stats do is hide the fragility of Russels teams.

Anyone saying he coached a 3-0/1 game and blaming missed chances is talking absolute waffle.

We were second best with the extra man for periods, his subs didnt change anything if anything we got worse. He hasn't a clue about management, pure fraud!

...but Tops to blame, sell up and the first person who gets the boot when new owners come in will be that absolute cabbage in the dugout!

Really hate my club at the minute!!

Don’t we say this every time, he will probably have a performance clause and we can sack him as performing results wise well below par.

Why are the team so unfit? 60 mins and they are completely out of gas, whereas Barnsley were charging down everything with 10 men. I thought a possession based brand of football was supposed to tire the opposition.

He's so shit. He won't manage again when Top finally sacks him. Which will be in probably February when we're 14th.

He was the worst appointment we could have made
