If they can’t even decide on a name for their company then I have serious reservations

It's "Unnamed Middle Eastern firm" for you.

I'm all for being sold to an owner with better resources, but the timing seems off.  You don't sell an asset when its distressed and undervalued unless its impossible to carry on.  Not when you've just hired a new DOF and new manager and the season is about to start in a few weeks. I think it definitely gives more credence to Charlie Methven's analysis of King Power and its financial situation. If a sale is being discussed now, its not a matter of if King Power will sell this year but when - because it feels like Top has realized he must sell the club, that he and his company cannot carry on the financial burden of supporting the club any further.

I would say this is further along than it may seem.

Too much of a coincidence that both sets of news drip today.

or it could be “ if you’re interested, better put an offer in quick”

it’s similar to the leak of a fake other club being interested in a player we are trying to sell to get a team to put a good offer in, is how I see it

I hope the Leeds case doesn't scare away any potential buyers. That could add some millions to the purchase price down the line, athough I still think that is unlikely.

If it means getting rid of Top and Rudkin, I really don't care about that right now. I know it will have a negative impact if we have to wait until January to make more signings, but being stuck with King Power is far more detrimental to our longterm future.

If it means getting rid of Top and Rudkin

Absolutely !!!

Who cares about Signings !!

I know it is very early days and could just be rumours, but no one can stop me fantasising about a future headline of... 'Rudkin departs Leicester City after sale of the club'

Although this news could be great is anyone else thinking frying pan and fire?

A bit but this way, we're more likely to get the complete reset we desperately need.

They could easily factor in some kind of earn out in the structure of the SPA if we are promoted, or other specific milestones are met. So don’t worry about that.

Surely if Leeds can sue us we can sue Everton & Forest? They were sanctioned the year we went down…

Top will probably put a clause in that he must be retained, even promoted.

If they've done any homework I can't see anything but that. As I've joked I'd see them doing the stadium to match the training ground. Ones debatable the best in the world the other is average. It also restricts our income. I can also see them developing the land beside the ground.

Let's be honest a big concert venue/exhibition hall would be great. 10/12k would be awesome and summer gigs at our new named expanded ground.

But sadly see some dodgy deals along the way.

Even if they come we may see difference behind the scenes for the better, hopefully long term project is to finally up the capacity of the stadium until that happens the club are restricted with the FFP.

I agree, but any sort of legal case hanging over a business is never a good thing when trying to sell
