People talk like the King Power group are squeaky clean.

They're no Saints (although we're turning into them) and are currently running us into oblivion.

Football is now bigger business than King Power can handle/fund.

Middle Eastern or American ownership is starting to feel like the only way forward in England.

Question is

who is driving the sale ?

the family or the person running king power

I think that matters a lot

First the FT leak and then the Sky Sports story, maybe they are hoping for a bidding war

That occurred to me

but then I had a think and decided it’s more likely that it’s agreed rather than leaked early doors.

unless whoever is interested isn’t paying what KP want so they’ve taken the option of risking it going TU.  not sure that sounds v professional though

Based on absolutely nothing except the sheer depth of the pockets required, the involvement of a genuinely huge investment group in Citigroup and the Middle Eastern profile, I would imagine this'll be a big name and we're probably quite far down the road.

It won't be PIF or CFG as multi club ownership rules make it impossible, but it may genuinely be in that ball park. The only investors with the funds would have to be multi billionaires beyond anything King Power has. Call me wildly optimistic, but this might be a state-backed entity who have other clubs elsewhere. Do QSI have any English clubs?

I couldn't give a shiny shite if the club is being bought by a planet polluting, child labour endorsing, sweat shop owning anti- human rights Wealth Fund, as long as they pump billions into my club, and put them back challenging for Europe!!!!

Moral filled melts can do one! Bring on the. Cash 💴

Whilst im sure your comment is tongue in cheek, football has reached a point where the only people that can afford to make a football club successful, are all shady bastards.

The vast majority of billionaires are shady bastards to be fair.
