Good result. Decent performance but hard to judge where we are based on that match as Bromley were very very poor.

We are so much better when we move the ball forward quickly than trying to pass it around at the back etc.

I know he scored but I was a bit disappointed in Riis tonight.  I think he lost the ball almost every time it was played to him with his back to their goal.  Took his goal well but just didn't impress me.

Midfield worked well until the subs came on when we basically lost all our shape etc.   Looked far more solid at the back though Bromley offered very little.

You can only beat what is in front of you but let's see where we are after Luton.

I'll take a centre forward who doesn't play well but bags a goal thanks

All 5 of the subs were pretty poor tbh, but everyone in the starting team had a very good game. Hopefully it continues.

Thought we were excellent. Fair play to Russell and the players

Need to see some serious consistency now. As good as we were, Bromley were shocking.

Yes we were wasteful, yes they were horrific, but you can only beat whats in front of you and they did that with ease.

Hopefully we can just build on our confidence. Theres enough ability in this squad to walk this division.

Genuinely, it was closer to an 8-0 than a 4-0 game in terms of our dominance. The only disappointment is that we didn't score more. We missed good chances, but also their goalkeeper was far and away their best player.

I think credit has to go to Russell Martin for clearly changing things in these last 2 matches. It was needed but none of us actually thought he would do it, the players look much more comfortable. Onwards and upwards.

Put the beers down lad

To address this on a serious note - our fanbase is so weak and compliant that's what I'm obviously throwing up a pastiche of.

The results aren't good enough wholesale and I don't want him at the club.

But there are many for whom this result will be enough to turn a blind eye to.

It's nothing to do with picking up or putting down the beers. It's a long term knowledge of how complicit our fans are, you included, that a win over Bromley is enough to stop demanding change.

This new formation is getting the best out of the side. Yes, Bromley were absolutely woeful, but our shape was so much better and works really well with both the defence and midfield players we have.

Braybrooke was immense tonight, completely ran the show. Lundstram is a lovely player at this level, the metronome that sets the tempo. Huge shout out to Okoli as well. Had Braybrooke not stole the show, Okoli would have been my MOTM, completely bossed it at the back, maybe there is a player in there after all.

Well done lads, now let's see if we can can make it 3 on the bounce!

Tbf the chances were more than there. Another day i genuinely think we score 6/7 today, off the top of my head Braybrooke, Lundstram and Cullen all had very good chances. Shite opposition but have to be happy with the last two, the silly stuff in our own third has been eliminated entirely, and we are breaking out of that area then keeping the ball. Someone on here this week mentioned Brighton’s high possession but with direct play in their defensive third, seems we are doing that now, at least we have for the last two. Has made a big difference

The last two matches have been much better, the football has certainly been less one dimensional, and we’ve definitely mixed it up a bit more. Braybrook has been immense, Doyle has added a completely different profile to the midfield and Lundstrum has been purring in that midfield. Like you say, we’ve cut out some of the unnecessary stuff, and we’re opening teams up in one or two passes….

Perhaps all of the criticism from the stands has rubbed off? Or the players has said to him they want to be a bit more direct….. either way, there’s been a marked improvement. It was like a training game today…

"IF" we win our game in hand, we could be 4 points off the top.

How shit is this league?

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves 😂

2 wins on the bounce and much less reliance on tippy tappy to walk the ball into the net.  I know it's only Bromley but we actually saw some forward balls into space at last. Maybe we are seeing a regular starting 11 with a couple more vying for starts.  Hopefully a corner turned.  Even with our dire start, we are still only 3 points off the play off places so still hope. We promote 😬

I think the extra centre half has made a huge difference.
