Feel like another Ayew type signing, he can do a job up front, rather than an out and out CF.

 

You don't end up playing deep if you are doing a great job as a CF.

It looks like his move to attacking mid - still played plenty as a striker as well over the past 2 seasons as well - is since they signed Vipotnik

 

Probably quite a good sign actually that they were still looking to find a way to get him on the pitch whilst having a properly good striker upfront and not just bombing him to the bench to be a sub sometimes

Maybe think I'm just disappointed we are spending money on a 27 year old.

There's no way Page doesn't get any minutes just cos we sign a player to add depth. Conversely, Page can't go a whole season at his age playing every game...

I think you are vastly underestimating how many minutes players like Page will get

 

We have minimum 51 games this season and Page has played as both an 8 and a 10 in pre-season so far
