How many of those players are actually now playing? Okoli, Souttar and Thomas were loaned out and everyone else is new or an academy graduate perhaps explains why they are the best players this season.

It seems RM master plan was to double down on Thomas and get him involved in attacks as well as defence. At the same time put Alves on the right and let him feed off of scraps.
