Don’t really understand the bench, but tbh it is silly how we can’t have more players on it.

7 is a pretty reasonable size - that was the case in most divisions until a couple of years ago. Managers dealt with it by not having 71.4% of their bench all playing the same position

Watched them at Gillingham last season and they were probably the most efficient/positive team I've seen play, either live or on TV (so yes, I'm including the likes of PSG, Barca etc). It completely made up for their limitations as every player knew exactly what to do in every situation; 0 hesitation and all about 3 steps ahead of the game.

Obviously they won't be anything like that tonight with the step up in quality and their lack of confidence, but they're basically the antithesis to our style of play where everyone needs twice as long to think about what they want to do with the ball

Seriously what was the point of signing Bristric, Kanga and Cullen? Saying we are in deep deep financial shit then why spend about 5m on all 3 of them to be on the bench? If he settles on this formation we've now got Doyle Chaplin Reid and Cullen all for 1 position. We've got multiple wingers and not playing with wingers. It's a shambles. Only decent signings so far out of 14 looks to be Lundstram, Riis and Doyle, the rest could easily have been filled with academy players. Hutchinson, Neale, Carr, Evans, Ogchere etc could have played more and saved lots of needless money.

Especially when you've got no fullbacks/wingbacks and you've got only 2 'wide' players or players that can play on the flanks in the starting lineup, with a formation that requires them.

The commentator on Sky sounds like an AI-generated voice over.

And today. Leicester. Play. Bromley. League one game. Few years ago. Could not believe. This would be. A fixture.

Just eight points. So far. Not great.cHere come the teams. Cracking. Atmosphere.

Bromley. In white. Leicester. In blue.

Awful. Might have to press mute.
